To get out of overwhelm can be really easy,
if you just know how.
Have you ever wondered why some people can handle stress and overwhelm so well…even though you feel it’s killing you?

My name is Dr Annika and I work with stress issues.
My client, Linda, also used to wonder if it was possible to find a way out of her stress problem…until I helped her find the answer.
Let me tell you a quick story of what she achieved, and how you can do it too.

But first let me tell you about Linda. I met Linda in a company workshop I was holding for her and her middle manager peers. The workshop was designed to help these 6 leaders to get out of overwhelm and stress. The feeling in the room was a bit tense.
It became clear to me that no one was happy with the situation. They felt they didn’t have the time to participate, and Linda was the loudest complainer.
I introduced a breathing exercise, just to get them to cool down. But Linda immediately stood up and said: “You are not going to get me to do some – here she said a nasty word – breathing exercise! That’s for those “woo-woo” people. You are here to make my time right and get me out of stress, not teach me how to breathe!” She was angry but almost in tears.
It was clear to me that she was so stressed out she could not really think clearly. I sat down beside her and out it came, all the tears, all the frustration, all the doubt in herself. Her worry for her health, all the worry for her kids and her marriage. By then the other 5 leaders in the room shared the same kind of worries. The working situation was over their heads.
They told me they had tried organization consultants to fix how they worked, but they all agreed it just made things worse. Those consultants did not see THEM; only the workflow and the organization structure. They were told what to change without anyone asking them for their story, or background, or why they were in this predicament to begin with.
This is what happens when you try to do things without seeing the whole picture. Everything is connected and leads towards stress– the people and all their diversity, the organization, their customers etc. You need to get it working together and you need to start with the people – taking them step by step, baby steps in the desired direction.
So, what happened to Linda and her colleagues?
